Please plan on bringing the whole family to St. Sophia's 2nd Annual Paniyiri.
A Paniyiri is a centuries-old traditional and cultural festival celebrated during the summer all over Greece, from the tiniest of churches in the smallest of villages to the largest towns and we are bringing it to Syracuse. The festival is an occasion to bring young and old people together, to meet parishioners, to talk, to play, to drink, to eat, to dance and to feast!
The Paniyiri will be outdoors on the church grounds, weather permitting. The Dinner will include mezethes, chicken and gyro bowls, hot dogs and an assortment of desserts. Greek music will be provided by DJ Christos for all your listening and dancing pleasure. The event will also feature crafts, games and a 50/50 raffle.
Minimum $10 donation per Adult and Children 18 years olds and under are Free.
