Please plan on bringing the whole family to St. Sophia's 1st Annual Panigiri. A Panigiri is a centuries-old traditional and cultural festival celebrated during the summer all over Greece, from the tiniest of churches in the smallest of villages to the largest towns and we are bringing it to Syracuse. The festival is an occasion to bring young and old people together, to meet parishioners, to talk, to drink, to eat, to dance and to feast!
The Panigiri will be outdoors on the church grounds, weather permitting. The Dinner will include mezethes, greek salad, gyros, hot dogs and festival favorite Loukoumades for one of the dessert options. Greek music will be provided by DJ Ari for all your listening and dancing pleasure.
Minimum $10 donation per Adult and Children 18 and under are Free.
